Everyone has their own opinion as to what is the best antivirus software. Some people will argue that Norton is the best, while others claim that McAfee is the king. Computer technicians however, which is myself included will recommend AVG.
AVG has been around for years, and it is continually being updated so that it gives you the most protection. However, Live One is currently on the market, which this too is one of the best antivirus software programs. I’ve used it myself and I give the program two thumbs up.
AVG though offers you some unique tools for cleaning your registry and so forth. It’s been my experience that when using Norton and McAfee, your computer is still at risk. I’ve lost a number of computers because these programs did not protect my system. However, the newest Norton program seems to do ok.
Computer techs however will recommend the most valued programs because they know the systems, how they should be protected and so forth. Therefore, if you want one opinion, I would say that AVG or Live One Care is the choice. With AVG, you have a couple of options. You can download the free version, or you can opt to update the program. Free antivirus offers are good programs and they give you a good measure of protection against both spyware and viruses.
In conclusion, the best antivirus software, I guess you can say is a matter of opinion. I would go with the experts’’ recommendation.
